【RGB Joystick Light Rings】This controller is designed with RGB light rings around the joysticks for a better visual experience when you're playing. Choose between different colors and unique light modes to highlight your controller.
【Premium Ergonomic Design】The contoured design provides a stronger grip and greater comfort when you're playing on the go.
【Three Modes in One】Use the joypads together as one controller, separate them for two-player mode, or connect them to the Switch console's adapter to play in handheld mode.
【Mapping & Turbo Functionality】The mapping function enables you to customize the two buttons on the back. It also has turbo & auto functions that feature three speed settings.
【Dual Motors and Six-Axis Gyroscope】The NexiGo NS53 Controller for the Nintendo Switch uses dual haptic feedback motors and six-axis gyroscopic sensors to improve immersion and enable intuitive motion controls.
Edit:Nexigo has since replaced the broken one and even threw in a different color for my troubles (unsolicited). This does wonders for my trust in the brand, and makes me comfortable recommendations this product despite the fact that the jury is still out on longevity of the unit (will update if I do experience a similar issue, but so far, no problems and they feel great). As I said below, these are a huge value for what they offer. Gyro, wireless, great joysticks and mappable back buttons are all huge wins in my book. These would be downright perfect if it wasn’t for the lack of heft and sturdiness. Perhaps using stronger/denser plastics and having a prong similar to Hori split pads to keep the tension off the railing. But in terms of functionality and looks, these can’t be beat, and as long as they continue to work will probably be my daily drivers.Original Review:So I own the hori split pad pro as well as the binbok v2 as well as these. The split pad are way higher in terms of physical feel but they do not function wirelessly and do not support gyro. These Nexigo do support gyro, and look great and are very ergonomic. The main drawback in terms of design between these and the Split Pad Pros are that these don’t have any support to keep them from wiggling or feeling loose (more on that later), while the Hori do, which makes them feel freaking solid on the switch. These are identical to the binbok in terms of function, but the shape is a bit different and the face buttons feel maybe slightly cheaper on this one.Despite all of this, these would probably be my favorite grip joycons… until they stop working. After about a week of use, the right one seemed to feel a bit more loose than out of the box, and lo and behold, it no longer stays connected consistently whe n attached to the switch. This makes me so frustrated because it’s otherwise such a solid contender and would be my personal favorite (and if it had a support to keep them solidly latched, there would be no question that this would check off all the boxes, as long as it worked). That said, my recommendation would be to go with theHori split pad pro if you don’t care for gyro, and the binbok if you do (My binbok doesn’t seem to have the same issues this does, despite appearing to be essentially the same product with a different shape). If you must buy this for the color (why I bought this), then KEEP THE BOX so you can return it if it breaks within your return window (mine did, but I don’t have the box anymore because I didn’t expect it to stop working until after at least a year of use)I've tried the Binbok joycons. I've tried the satisfye grip. I've tried two different skull and co grips. I've tried the Mumba grip or whatever it's called, plus another just like it. And I've tried the OIVO grip. Some of these were good as grips, but only the binboks were truly dockable, and the binboks frankly sucked. These joycons are both perfect for big adult hands, they have all the features you want including gyro, rumble, wireless and the ability to easily dock and undock the console. The gyro might not be as good as the regular joycons but it's more than good enough. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is the rumble is too loud, even at the lowest setting. But that only really matters in quiet games.Overall I really like these joy con replacements so far. They are much easier to hold, more comfortable in the hand, and (usually) allow for much more accurate inputs for gameplay. Worked fantastically for games such as Mario Kart, Streets of Rage 4 and Capcom Arcade Stadium, and the analog sticks have great range of motion and good resistance for FPS games, but the lousy d-pad would make it pretty useless for fighting games or platformers that require pinpoint accuracy. At half the price (or less) of a pair of joy cons, these are absolutely fantastic for people with larger hands.Comfort: AAnalog Sticks: AShoulder Buttons: B+Face Buttons: BD-Pad: C-/D+Rumble: FGyro: Untested. If you are used to the OE Joycons, these will take a little getting used to. I do like them but they draw a lot of battery life from the switch and they have a premature battery life on their own.One side is a bit harder to put on and take off. Also if you leave them attached to the switch when not in use the controllers will light up every few minutes. All in all i am happy with my purchaseNot too big. Comfortable, and very cool looking. Buttons work just fine and the controllers have nice vibration feedback. The main little issues I've experienced is that there seems to be a lot of "wiggle" with the left controller when connected to the switch and to the part that connects both controllers, but this isn't something a little electrical tape can't fix. The other issue I've got is that it's very difficult to attach and remove the right controller to and from that particular part. Doing this requires quite a bit of force. I have these same issues with the Lightstorm variant, only difference is that the "wiggle" issue applies to the right controller (isn't as noticable), and I have difficulty attaching and removing the left controller from the part that connects both of them. At this time, I didn't try mapping any controls yet (Honestly, I probably won't - just don't have a use for that, and I'm afraid I'll end up doing something wrong), but other than that - these are very nice and I haven't had any other issues so far. I was going to mention that I wasn't sure Nexigo is aware of the different back textures between this and the Lightstorm variation, but I believe they are with the photos they've provided. Lightstorm has the "cracked lava" texture on the front and back, while Atmosphere only has it on the front - but it's not a huge deal. Hopefully they'll release more colors - I'd love to see a dark blue and light blue variant.Overall looks really nice, i love the color and the grip on it is great. Motion sensors work great and vibration as well.. a total must have.Be careful with the controller, as it's larger it can break - which did happen to me BUT the customer service reached out and offered a replacement, which is amazing and I accepted. Other than that, it's a fantastic controller for any size hand, wireless works perfect and no more hand cramps from the default Nintendo joyconsOverall I am happy with the controllers. The only disappointment I have is the A button gets stuck every now and again. Comparing these to the Hori controllers I would say the hori feel better quality but I like the design pattern of these and that they sit flush with the screen unlike the Hori.I bought the Nexigo Controller because I was getting Cramp in my hands holding the Nentendo controller, and it works no more hand cramp gaming. And it’s very comfortable too and a big plus too it charges on the nentendo dockComfortable to play with
