This fits the original nintendo switch perfectly. It is durable, has the raised handles on the back for a comfortable hold. It also fits in the docking station. The first time it's slightly snug but never had any issues with it.Item good. As in, it's good.Comfortable and fits like a glove. The case makes it hard to push the power and volume buttons on top, and the grips help some, it's still better than being flat, but I still find my hands aren't able to grip it comfortably; perhaps that is my small hands and not the case's fault. I'm not a fan of the way the material feels on my hands and I can't really describe that, unfortunately. Probably just a sensory thing on my end. Anyway, it does it's job, but I don't really care for it.I've been using this case for almost two months now and I've gotta say that it's super nice to have this as your general case since it'll fit into most travel cases pretty well. It's also super convenient just to pop this into the dock for when you get home, not having to deal with any sort of removal process or anything. The joycons also easily slide out from the case so that you'll be able to take out your controllers while the console is still docked! The grip itself is generally decent. Nothing much to write home about if you're looking for comfort as other cases on the market will do the job just fine if not better. As I've said previously, the main draw of this case is that you won't have to remove it when inserting the console into the dock, and I'd consider that a decent tradeoff. For what it's worth, it's at least better than holding the Switch without a grip at all.The only caveat is that it blocks the topmost USB port on the dock, but since it's mentioned as a disclaimer in the product description, you know what you're getting into with this case. All things considered though, this is a wonderful product that I'm sure won't get replaced in my house anytime soon.Good price for what you get, but with that said keep in mind it's only $12 bucks. It won't protect your switch from drops and it'll still be completely exposed on the front. This product is for grip only and the comfort of that grip is okay, not great. It gets the job done. I have 2 main issues with it along with 1 solution for an issue. The first issue is if you're laying in bed the edges of the grip hit the middle of your palms in such a way that it hurts after awhile, this may just be me but figured I'd say something. The other grips on market with their cylindrical/rounded handles are probably more comfortable overall. My second issue was that the right side grip of the case had a pretty large gap between the grip case and the console. My OCD made me hate this defect, and it made the case feel like it wasn't properly snug. However! I came up with a solution for this issue. If you happen to be familiar with how mouth guards are molded to your mouth using boiling water then you know where this is headed. Boil some water dung the right hand grip into the boiling water and hold it there for 30 seconds or longer. Pull it out of the water, and pour out any boiling water that may have collected in the grip handle. Then quickly push the grip inward with your hands. While holding the grip in this new position run it under cold tap water. This should lock the new grip position into place. Dry the grip case off before slipping your switch into it and bingo bango you're in business!Anyway, in conclusion, it's a decent grip for the money, and like with most things you get what you pay for.Having owned pretty much all the popular Switch grip cases like Skull & Co, Mumba, Jetech, etc, I bought this unknown one since I liked the simple look of it. First impression - lightweight, rubbery plastic (around where the Switch tablet would be held) that won’t scratch your Switch (problem that is caused by hard plastic some of these popular brands have), and the production quality is pretty good. All the cutouts lined up, the clear plastic back didn’t have scratches, and the fit and finish is on par with the popular brands. I like how easy it is to swap out Joy-Cons. The grips themselves are fairly chunky to give extra comfort, but I would prefer them to be a bit more grippy. Maybe the manufacturer could add a layer of soft rubber coating on them. It’s a minor gripe tho, as overall, I’m happy with this. It’s a good product for a fair price.ITS see throught from the back and has a grip that holds the switch and Joyce's together. However, it dose not have a tight grip like a section cup. So, be careful on how you are holding it.
